Reports Of Sexual Harassment Of Education Minister Donal Trump When WWE CEO Is Stopped

JAKARTA - The Maryland District Court in the US said reports of alleged sexual harassment by Linda McMahon while serving as CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment or WWE on the edge of the wrestling ring had been temporarily suspended.

The termination of the case where the victim is a former announcer, is known based on the case document filed last week.

Linda McMahon has also just been appointed by US President-elect Donald Trump to be her cabinet education minister.

The lawsuit was filed by five unnamed men, based on a new amendment to Maryland's law that abolished state restrictions on child sexual abuse claims.

Attorney Linda McMahon told CBS News at the end of November 2024, her client, who was still a candidate for the Trump-era Minister of Education, would fight the baseless lawsuit.

His client, he said, would also be defended by other prospective members of the Trump administration cabinet.

Attorney Linda McMahon added that it does not make sense to report sexual harassment that allegedly occurred in the 1980s was then filed based on the latest legal changes.

They also considered that the case could not be continued until the abolition of the state restriction law for claims of sexual abuse of children was inkrah.

In a case document at the Maryland Court, the status of this case is written to be temporarily suspended or "delayed" pending the decision of the Maryland Supreme Court (MA) on a joint appeal to the constitutionality of the Maryland Child Victim Act in 2023.

As for Linda McMahon and her husband, Vince McMahon founded WWE and led her for decades. The couple has been friends with Trump for more than 20 years and is listed as one of his most prolific donors.

Vince McMahon was also accused of being involved in sequencing abuse which eventually left WWE in January 2024.

Meanwhile Linda McMahon left WWE in 2009 to run for US Senate in Connecticut.
