Member of Commission E of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Ima Mahdiah, said that this finding was reported by the Indonesian Christian Religious Education Teacher Forum (Forgupaki) to the DKI Jakarta DPRD. "(The actual salary) is Rp. 9 million, there is evidence. So, the school principal is having problems. I want to know what the answer from the Education Office is, because if we look at it, we have seen how much the amount of the teacher in question continues to run out, it is only given Rp. 300,000 per month for 1 year," Ima told reporters, Monday, November 27. Ima admitted that she had forwarded this report to the DKI Jakarta Education Office. Ima suggested that the DKI Provincial Government follow up on the findings. Previously, Forgupaki complained about the existence of 40 honorary Christian teachers in Jakarta public schools who did not get the wages according to what they should have received. General Chairperson of Forgupaki Abraham Pellokila hopes that the DPRD can fight for the welfare of Christian religious teachers with honorary status. He also explained that one of the Christian religious teachers who received inappropriate wages is now teaching at the Malacca Jaya 10 State Elementary School (SDN), Duren Sawit, East Jakarta. “ We hope that in the future these honorary teachers (considered).
