JAKARTA - PDIP senior politician Masinton Pasaribu said the presidential candidate pair Ganjar Pranowo and vice president Mahfud MD will visit Aceh and Papua on the first day of the 2024 election campaign.
"Mr. Mahfud to Aceh and Pak Ganjar to Papua," said Masinton after the National Coordination Meeting of the Gakkumdu Center in Jakarta, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, November 27.
He explained that Ganjar would visit Papua, while Mahfud went to Aceh. Not only that, the Ganjar-Mahfud pair will be accompanied by a campaign team and party administrators who are there.
"There is a campaign team that participates, there are also party (regional) administrators there," he said.
The KPU has determined that the election campaign period will take place from November 28, 2023 to February 10, 2024, while the voting is scheduled to be held on February 14, 2024.
