JAKARTA - The clean water crisis is still hitting the RT 02/14 area, Cililitan Village, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta. The water crisis experienced by residents is the impact of the stop in the supply of pam water to residential areas in RT 02/14, Cililitan Village.

Based on Mentari's statement, one of the residents of RT 02/14 Cililitan Village, the clean water crisis experienced by residents had occurred for the past 1 month. Although residents have reported to the PDAM office, there is no follow-up to the supply of raw water services

"It's been more than a month (dead water), some residents have had time to report to the office. The response said there was a leak, they were looking for only until now there is no certainty. It's still like this, the water is dead," Mentari complained to reporters at the location, Monday, November 27.

Mentari and other residents hope that the damage mentioned by the raw water company can be repaired in a short time. The reason is, residents really need clean water for food, drink, shower and wash needs.

"Hopefully the water will run smoothly every day, the water will run. It will be handled quickly, we have many housewives and school children. Almost all of them (residents of RT 02/14) have died (water) pam," he said.

But sometimes, the raw water supply from the Pam channel can only function in the morning. Even then, continued Mentari, there is a duration of pad water on.

"The water was just running in the morning, it was small. The lights were running from 8 to 9 o'clock, it died again. The lights were on again tomorrow," he said.

Despite experiencing a clean water crisis, Mentari admitted that there was no assistance in distributing clean water to residents' settlements in her area.

"There is no water assistance yet. If it runs out, it won't take a shower. At least (wait) rainwater," he said.
