Police Name Jakut Satpol PP Officer Suspect After Collision Of Ojol Driver To Death

The North Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit (Satlantas) has named AH (44) a Satpol PP officer driving a North Jakarta Satpol PP official car as a suspect. AH is suspected of having hit an online motorcycle taxi driver that led to his death on the Flyover, in front of the Sunter Automotive Exchange, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.

"The driver has been named a suspect," said North Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Head, Kompol Edy Purwanto, Sunday, November 26.

As a result of his actions, the suspect was charged with Article 310 paragraph 4 of the Road Traffic and Transportation Law.

Previously, the incident began with the Satpol PP official car crashing into a number of motorcyclists on Jalan Yos Sudarso, precisely at the Flyover in front of the Sunter Automotive Exchange, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, which occurred on Friday, November 24, at 11.00 WIB.

The accident began when the Satpol PP official car driven by AH (44) drove from south to north. Arriving at the crime scene (TKP), AH preceded another vehicle from the right.

At that time the Satpol PP official car swerved to the right and left (zig zag), causing it to hit Yamaha Fino and Honda Vario motorcycles that were driving in the same direction in front of it. As a result of the accident, Yamaha Fino motorcycle rider number E 3499 QAC with the initials T died at the TKP.

The Fino motorcycle rider is an online motorcycle taxi driver (ojol). He fell from a flyover with a height of approximately 15 meters. The victim died at the scene with serious head injuries.
