Police Examine 11 Witnesses Regarding Nanie Darham's Death Allegedly Due To Malpractice

The South Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim has conducted a crime scene in the case of Nanie Darham's death.

As is known, Nanie Darham, the star of the Bridal Waterfall film, conducted a fat suction operation at a clinic in the North Cipete area, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, and was thought to have experienced malpractice which led to death.

"We have examined several documents related to the documents related to the operation," said Deputy Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Henrikus Yossi, on Sunday, November 26, 2023.

Currently, investigators have examined 11 witnesses, both from the clinic and the doctors who at that time participated in the operation.

In addition, examinations were also carried out on several nurses in the clinic, both those directly involved in operating activities and those who received victim registration.

"We have also examined the families of the victims. Furthermore, we will conduct an examination of medical personnel from the ambulance who at the time of the incident provided assistance and took the victim to the hospital," he said.

It didn't stop there, investigators also conducted an examination of the hospital that provided assistance in the ER.

The South Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim has also coordinated with the doctor's association to conduct an examination.

"Ikatan dokter di sini sebagai ahli dalam perkara tersebut. Pihak klinik yang melakukan operasi," ujarnya.

Previously, it was reported that the alleged malpractice of the fat seuction operation was experienced by a star in the Bridal Waterfall film, Nanie Darham, which led to death.

The incident occurred at a clinic in the North Cipete area, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on Saturday, October 21, 2023.
