DENPASAR - The commotion occurred in West Denpasar between groups. This commotion led to a beating.

Head of Public Relations of Denpasar Police AKP I Ketut Sukadi said the commotion occurred in the minimarket area of Jalan Gatot Subroto Barat, Padangsambian Kaja, West Denpasar. The victim with the initials GAS (37) was initially visited by a number of teenagers who asked for help because he was beaten by another group.

"The victim tried to break up the commotion, but instead the victim was beaten with logs and chunks of paving stone so that the victim tried to save himself into the minimarket but was still being chased by the group of people," said AKP Sukadi, Friday, November 24.

Korba suffered head injuries and was treated at Wangaya Hospital in Denpasar. Another victim, a teenager, was also taken to the hospital.

"Currently the police are handling and investigating the case. Meanwhile, the evidence that has been secured in the form of tools used in the fight, namely wood and paving fragments, the police have also carried out several investigative steps including increasing patrols at the crime scene," he said.
