The Chairman Of The DPD Invites Wahdah Islamiyah To Fight For Pancasila To Become The Basic Falsafah Of The State

JAKARTA - Wahdah Islamiyah was praised for consistently practicing the values of the nation in the state, namely deliberation. Wahdah Islamiyah is also expected to be able to participate in fighting for Pancasila to return completely as the basic philosophy of the state.

Chairman of DPD AA LaNyalla Mahmud Mattalitti said this virtually when opening the XVI National Working Conference of the Central Board of Wahdah Islamiyah in Makassar, 23-26 November 2023.

"I invite all members of Wahdah Islamiyah to continue to fight for Pancasila as the Basic State Falsafah, as well as the values that go hand in hand with the values of Islamic teachings," said LaNyalla, Thursday, November 23.

The senator from East Java explained that the founders of this nation had chosen the Syuro system, namely the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) as the country's highest institution. The MPR is the place for the incarnation of all Indonesian people to determine the direction of the journey of this nation and state. Why is that, because the true owner of this country's sovereignty is the people.

"This is the original Indonesian system. A state system based on Pancasila. A system designed and agreed upon by the founders of the nation," explained LaNyalla.

LaNyalla explained that it was not without reason that the founding fathers of the nation used the phrase Corruption led by Wisdom'. He explained that those who had deliberation to determine the direction of the journey of this nation and state should actually be wise.

"So, the MPR as the highest institution is not only inhabited by members of the DPR who are elected through the Legislative Election, but also inhabited by envoys from community groups and elements related to the historicality of the region or region," said LaNyalla.

"The very perfect system is finally replaced with an individualist and liberal system of western countries, through constitutional amendments from 1999 to 2002," said LaNyalla.

The amendment was made because we consider that the system of formation of the nation's founders is identical to that of a new order system. In fact, what happened in the New Order era, even the old order, was the practice of deviation from the state system of the original formulation of the nation's founders.

LaNyalla said that in the DPD RI through the Plenary Session on July 14, 2023, the DPD RI institutionally decided to take state initiatives to build collective awareness for all elements of this nation and state, so that we can re-implement and implement the principles and system of the Pancasila state according to the formulation of the founders of the nation, which was refined and strengthened.

"Thus, we as a nation have returned to Pancasila as a whole. At the same time, as a nation, we will again be committed to joint determination in the spirit of God, Humanity, Unity, Deliberation and Social Justice," concluded LaNyalla.
