JAKARTA - Siti Atikoh Supriyanti revealed the fitness secrets of 2024 presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo during outreach activities in various regions. The secret is in the form of two tips that she regularly applies so that her husband is always in top condition when he meets people in all corners of the country.

"There are two sides, mental and physical," said Atikoh in an interview with Tribun Network News Director, Febby Mahendra Putra, which was uploaded to the Tribunnews YouTube channel, Thursday 23 November.

Wife's Role

Atikoh said that ahead of the 2024 presidential election, her husband Ganjar Pranowo's activities were getting busier. If previously Ganjar mostly carried out activities at the provincial level, now her husband has to travel to a number of regions in Indonesia for outreach ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

Atikoh must also take on the maximum role as a wife. Among other things, making sure her husband doesn't eat late.

"Physically, of course we have to be nourished, usually when (people) are workaholics they forget to eat. Yes, I usually remind him. If he is at home, I can accompany him and monitor the nutrition of his food," said Atikoh.

The nutritious foods that Atikoh often prepares include authentic Indonesian superfoods. For example, tempeh, tofu and eggs. Don't forget, said Atikoh, to stay balanced, don't miss out on vegetable intake.

"We have lots of superfoods. There's tempeh, tofu, then eggs, those are high in protein. Then vegetables and fruit, then honey," he explained.

The granddaughter of KH Hisyam A Karim, founder of the PP Riyadus Sholikhin Kalijaran Islamic Boarding School, Karanganyar, Purbalingga, revealed that the second tip for maintaining Ganjar's fitness is from the mental side.

"For mental strength, giving a smile with love. When you come home and smiling, it gives psychological strength," said the mother of one child.

Apart from these two tips, Atikoh admits that she only does standard things as a wife. For example, when she is not taking part in an activity, she will always reminds her husband when long distance.

"I don't always participate, but I usually remind him, these are standard questions for a wife," emphasized Siti Atiqoh, Ganjar Pranowo's wife.
