PDIP Ensures Its Ministers Remain Professional Amid Polemics In The 2024 Presidential Election

Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto ensured that ministers from his party continue to work optimally. They are ready to make the government of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) successful even though the polemic related to the 2024 presidential election continues.

It is known that one of the polemics that is currently happening is the pressure on Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD's camp and those who spoke about fraud in the presidential election. Hasto said ministers from PDIP would not be affected by this condition.

"So the minister in the PDI-P remains responsible for the nation and state, because of his duties as an assistant to the President of the Republic of Indonesia," said Hasto on the sidelines of the National Consolidation of the Ganjar-Mahfud National Winning Team (TPN) at the Sari Pacific Hotel, Jakarta, Saturday, November 18.

Hasto even said that PDIP forbade ministers to pressure their staff to reap profits in this five-year contestation. "We are in politics as an adult," he said.

"The PDI-P has experienced ups and downs so that we have displayed a level of maturity," continued Hasto.

The Secretary of the Ganjar-Mahfud National Winning Team (TPN) also stated that the current phenomenon is like an upgrading test. This is because PDIP feels surrounded by political parties and power.

"It's like a mental spiritual test of party solidity, a test of consistency in fighting spirit, especially the mandate of reform, these are all tests for us, and we respond with enthusiasm," he concluded.
