Child Victim Of Sand Galian In Cisoka Finally Found Dead At A Depth Of 8 Meters

TANGERANG The search for an 11-year-old boy who drowned in the sand dug, Manggu Village, Cisoka, Tangerang Regency, finally bore fruit. The victim with the initials R was found by a rescue team in a lifeless condition, Friday, November 17.

The victim was found 8 meters deep, a radius of 50 meters from the initial location was reported to have sunk at around 09.51 WIB.

After being evacuated, the victim was immediately taken to the funeral home for immediate burial by the family.

"The victim's body has now been handed over to the family for immediate burial," he concluded

One day earlier, Thursday, November 16, the DKI Jakarta Basarnas Team was deployed to look for an 11-year-old boy who drowned in the sand excavation of Manggu Village, Cisoka, Tangerang Regency.

"The Jakarta SAR Office rescue personnel together with joint SAR elements were deployed and until tonight a search is still being carried out," said Head of the Jakarta SAR Office, Fazzli in his statement, Thursday, November 16.

Fazzli said that in the search effort tonight, it was carried out by dividing the search area into 3.

He said that the first team conducted a sweep using a rubber boat on the surface of the water around the scene.

Meanwhile, the second team made efforts to dive to search under the surface of the water up to a radius of 3 meters from the scene.
