Three victims died as a result of the accident of two EMB-314 Super Tucano Air Force tactical fighter aircraft in Puspo District, Pasuruan Regency, buried at the Suropati Heroes Cemetery (TMP), Malang City, East Java. The three victims buried at the Suropati TMP were the First Marshal of the TNI (posthumous) Subhan, the First Marshal of the TNI (posthumous) Widiono Hadiwijaya and the Aviation Colonel (posthumous) Sandhra Gunawan. Head of the Air Force Information Service (Kadispenau) First Marshal TNI R. Agung Sasongkojati said, while one other victim, Lieutenant Colonel (Anumerta) Yuda A. Seta, was buried at TMP Madiun. "The funeral has been completed at the Suropati TMP in Malang City, there are three deceaseds buried here. At TMP Madiun, Lieutenant Colonel (posthumous) Yuda A. Seta was buried," said Agung in Malang City, East Java, Antara, Friday, November 17. The military funeral ceremony was led directly by the Commander of Operations Command II, Marsda TNI Budhi Achmadi. The funeral ceremony started at around 10.45 WIB, and was completed at 11.30 WIB. "The Persada Appel. I am the Commander of Operations Command II. On behalf of the country and the Indonesian National Army, hereby present to the motherland the body, body and services of the deceased," said Inspector of Ceremony (Irupt), Marsda TNI Budhi Achmadi. The plane took off at 10.51 WIB and lost contact at 11.18 WIB. Two planes lost contact after maneuvering formations and penetrating the clouds. Initial estimates, the crash of the fighter was due to bad weather.
