It Turns Out That The Viral Video Of The Ganjar-Mahfud Air Balloon At Monas Editan

The viral video shows the Jakarta National Monument (Monas) monument filled with large red and white air balloons that read "Ganjar Mahfud" and "2024"

The air balloon also features the faces of presidential and vice presidential candidates Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD.

There is also a video mapping that highlights the Monas monument which reads "Ganjar Mahfud 2024".

Clarifying this, the Head of the National Monument (Monas) Regional Management Unit (UKP) Isa Sanuri emphasized that there were no air balloons depicting Gajar and Mahfud flying at Monas. Thus, the video is edited.

"There are no (air balon Ganjar and Mahfud). Please interpret it yourself," said Isa in a short message, Thursday, November 16.

Isa emphasized that the use of hot air balloons in the Monas area should not be arbitrary. Apart from vital national objects, Monas is also in ring one around the official area and the President's residence.

"In ring one or vital object, every drone flight, flying object, and hot air balloon, must obtain recommendations from the Presidential Military Secretariat," Isa explained.

For information, social media account X @AREAJULID uploaded a video of Ganjar-Mahfud's hot air balloon in the Monas area with a night time background.

The X account did not explain that the hot air balloon was edited and not real. Instead, he narrated it as if the hot air balloon was indeed flown at Monas.
