147 Rohingya Immigrants Return To Landing In Pidie Aceh

ACEH - A total of 147 Rohingya immigrants returned to land on the coast of Beurandeh Beach, Batee District, Pidie Regency, Aceh. "Today the Rohing docked again on the coast at around 17.30 WIB on a wooden boat," said Secretary Panglima Laot Pidie Marfian, in Pidie, Antara, Wednesday, November 15. The 147 Muslim refugees consisted of 46 adult men, 58 adult women, 21 boys, and 22 girls. Currently, the immigrants have been moved to a temporary shelter at the Mina Raya Gampong Leun Tanjung Foundation, Padang Tiji District, Pidie Regency. They were combined with hundreds of immigrants who were first placed there, both those stranded at the end of 2022, and yesterday afternoon. "They are currently being collected and combined with other refugees in a temporary shelter in the Mina Raya camp," said Marfian. Previously, as many as 200 Rohingya immigrants landed on the Coast of Gampong Blang Raya Beach, Muara Tiga District on Tuesday (14/11) by fishing boat. Of the 200 people, six of them fled by getting off the ship, and their position is not yet known.
