A total of three convicts of terrorism cases, residents of Semarang Prison, pledged allegiance to the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).

Head of Semarang Headquarters Usman Madjid said the three inmates with the initials S, ANS, and YS underwent a number of processes in familiarizing themselves to return to the fold of the Republic of Indonesia.

The procession begins with singing the national anthem Indonesia Raya, saluting and kissing the Red and White Flag, reading and signing the pledge of allegiance to the Republic of Indonesia, and reading Pancasila with other inmates.

"We congratulate and appreciate the inmates of terrorism cases who have pledged allegiance to the Republic of Indonesia," he said in a press release, Tuesday, November 14, which was confiscated by Antara.

He explained that with the pledge of allegiance that had been declared, the rights of the three prisoners would be fulfilled.

The rights as prisoners who will be fulfilled include granting remissions and parole.

He said that the convicts of terrorism cases had previously undergone coaching by being placed in different cells in order to socialize with other inmates.

In addition, he continued, they underwent coaching in the form of making calligraphy art and making various kinds of fried foods.
