Accompanied By Rp20 Thousand In Cash, Elderly In South Jakarta Rape 16-Year-Old Boy In Manggarai Rental

JAKARTA Elderly men (elderly) were arrested by members of the South Jakarta Metro Police on suspicion of sexual abuse and rape of minors in a rented Manggarai area, Tebet, South Jakarta.

The alleged perpetrator named Firman Widodo was arrested after being reported by the victim's family, KZ (16).

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Bintoro, said Firman carried out the rape act on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 15.00 WIB.

"It is true that he secured the reported person on behalf of Firman Widodo," Bintoro said in his statement, Monday, November 13.

Bintoro explained that the incident began when the victim was at Firman's rented house. Firman lured KZ with Rp. 20,000 to touch his breasts. From there, Firman took excessive action.

The perpetrator had sex with the breast (up to). The perpetrator gave the victim Rp20,000 in cash," he said.

The victim told his mother about the incident. Feeling aggrieved, the victim's mother reported it to the South Jakarta Metro Police.

"The perpetrator was arrested. (Then) interrogated the complainant, the victim and the reported party," he said.

This case is handled by the PPA Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police.
