Depok City Government Reconstruction Of Yellow Suspension Bridge Rp3.7 Billion

DEPOK - The Department of Public Works and Spatial Planning (DPUPR) of Depok City, West Java is currently reconstructing the Jembatan gantung or Jembatan Kuning on Jalan Ceplik, Ratujaya Village, Cipayung District with a budget ceiling of IDR 3.7 billion.

"For this reason, residents are asked to avoid the road, and find other alternative road routes, because the bridge was completely demolished," said Head of Depok City DPUPR Citra Indah Yulianty, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, November 9.

The bridge connecting Ratujaya Village with Kalimulya Village or Cikambangan area is already 25 years old. Therefore, it is necessary to have a total and thorough reconstruction so that road users are more comfortable and safe.

The length of the 60-meter Yellow Bridge is 2.4 meters wide and 3 meters high. The job target is completed on December 29, 2023.

Citra explained that residents can pass through alternative routes, including Tabronih Street, Anyelir Park Housing 3, HjDaing Street, Pedati Street to Kalimulya.

Meanwhile, from Jalan Kartini can go through Grand Depok City (GDC) towards Kalimulya to the Cikambangan area.
