JAKARTA - Metro Jaya Police is focusing on security at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) and the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) area during the U-17 World Cup from 10 November to 2 December 2023.

The National Police deployed tens of thousands of personnel in a security scheme for the U-17 World Cup. Specifically in Jakarta, as many as 2,348 personnel were deployed.

"Security includes several venues that will be used for the match later, namely at JIS Jakarta and in several GBK areas as training venues", said Head of Public Relations of Metro Jaya Police Commissioner Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko
