Give Bobby A Red Carpet In Medan, Hasto: PDIP Has An Incentory But We Prioritize It

Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto admitted to giving a red carpet to President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) son-in-law, Bobby Nasution in the Medan Mayor Election. In fact, this party bearing the bull symbol has incumbent candidates.

Hal ini disampaikan Hasto menanggapi sikap Bobby yang kini memilih mendukung pasangan Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka. Padahal, sebagai kader dia seharusnya harusnya punya kewajiban mendukung Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD yang didukung PDIP bersama PPP, Partai Hanura, dan Perindo.

"At that time we had an incumbent mayor but we prioritized Mas Bobby, including who was the vice candidate," Hasto told reporters at the High End building, Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, November 8.

Hasto even said that the trust was given because Bobby was considered to be able to deal with problems in Medan, including corruption. Thus, PDIP could not stop thinking about the political attitude taken and processing the action by clarifying which ended up asking for a membership card (KTA) return.

"People can also change by political power, because power contains a dark side. So, of course, the party takes a stand and process that has been carried out by the Chairman of the PDI-P DPP for Honorary Affairs Komarudin Watubun," he said.

As previously reported, the Mayor of Medan who is also the son-in-law of President Joko Widodo has officially clarified his support for Prabowo-Gibran. He is on behalf of his position as General Chair of the Barisan Fighter Entrepreneurs.

"We, the ranks of Fighter Entrepreneurs, hereby declare support, vote, and calm the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair Prabowo-Gibran to become president and vice president of the Indonesian republic in 2024-2029," said Bobby reading the declaration at the Djakarta Theater, Jakarta, Wednesday, November 8.

Ipar Gibran even said that Prabowo was in his heart and was ready to oversee the work programs promoted by candidate pairs from the Advanced Indonesia Coalition.

"This is what Mr. Prabowo, who was established, we are entrepreneurs from the regions. Apart from entrepreneurs, we are also fighters who today we declare Pak Prabowo and Mas Gibran, so Mr. Prabowo, if the language of the children of Medan is, hopefully, this is goods will be safe, sir," he concluded.
