Jokowi Alludes To Many Political Dramas Ahead Of The Presidential Election, Hasto PDIP Alludes To Healthy Sense

The Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto mentioned that when common sense is violated, efforts to straighten it out will definitely be carried out. Because, this step is a dedication in politics.

This was conveyed by Hasto in response to President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) satire about the number of dramas ahead of the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres).

"So if common sense is violated, when the law is engineered, the Constitutional Court is castrated, yes, a movement appears to straighten it out," Hasto told reporters at the High End building, Kebon Sirih, South Jakarta, Wednesday, November 8.

Hasto ensured that what he has said recently is not a drama. "This is a commitment to the future but this politics must come out of the reflection of the eyes of the heart, from common sense, and conscience," he said.

Moreover, various movements make the truth proven. One of them, with the decision of the Honorary Council of the Constitutional Court (MKMK) which ruled that President Jokowi's brother-in-law, Anwar Usman was removed from the position of Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court.

"So this is a moral victory as a positive step to guard democracy in this country," said Hasto.

As previously reported, President Jokowi talked about the current political conditions ahead of the 2024 presidential election. For Jokowi, there are too many political dramas currently happening.

"I see that lately what we have seen is too many dramas, too many dramas, too many soap operas, there should be fight ideas, fighting ideas, not fighting feelings," Jokowi said in a speech at Golkar Anniversary, Monday, November 6.

"If there is a fight that makes us all bothered, I don't have to continue because it will go anywhere," said Jokowi.
