PDIP Secretary General Ultimatum Bobby Nasution Returns KTA After Declaration Supports Prabowo-Gibran

Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto gave an ultimatum to the Mayor of Medan Bobby Nasution to immediately return the party membership card (KTA). Moreover, President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) son-in-law has officially supported Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka in the 2024 presidential election.

"Yesterday we spoke carefully, if we support others please, but then resign, the KTA will be returned," Hasto told reporters at the High End building, Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, November 8.

Hasto referred to this KTA return as a political ethics that Bobby must show. Given that he has ignored the party's orders that currently carry the presidential and vice presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD.

"It's very clear, political parties have discipline, the PDI-P is strong and then clarification has been made when party members give support to candidates, it's a form of political disobedience," he said.

"So it is political ethics, when it has given support to other parties, it is up to you to resign," continued Hasto.

In the future, Hasto will contact the Medan City PDIP DPC and the Chairperson of the PDIP DPP in the field of Honor, Komarudin Watubun, to question the return of the KTA by Bobby. He admitted that he did not have time because he was busy with the Ganjar-Mahfud winning meeting.

"This is all day we have a meeting at TKN, in the National Installation Team so we will check with Pak Koamrudin Watubun," he said.

As previously reported, the Mayor of Medan who is also the son-in-law of President Joko Widodo has officially clarified his support for Prabowo-Gibran. He is on behalf of his position as General Chair of the Barisan Fighter Entrepreneurs.

"We, the ranks of Fighter Entrepreneurs, hereby declare support, vote, and calm the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair Prabowo-Gibran to become president and vice president of the Indonesian republic in 2024-2029," said Bobby reading the declaration at the Djakarta Theater, Jakarta, Wednesday, November 8.

Ipar Gibran even said that Prabowo was in his heart and was ready to oversee the work programs promoted by candidate pairs from the Advanced Indonesia Coalition.

"This is what Mr. Prabowo, who was established, we are entrepreneurs from the regions. Apart from entrepreneurs, we are also fighters who today we declare Pak Prabowo and Mas Gibran, so Mr. Prabowo, if the language of the children of Medan is, hopefully, this is goods will be safe, sir," he concluded.
