Choose Treatment At The Singapore Hospital, This Is The Reason Coordinating Minister Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan

Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Menko Marves) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan explained the reason for choosing to be treated at the Singapore Hospital and not at the Indonesian Hospital.

Luhut did not deny that many questioned his reason for choosing the hospital in Singapore.

"I realized that many questions arose regarding why I did not seek treatment in Indonesia, instead went to Singapore. Actually, my treatment began at Medistra Hospital and Gatot Subroto Army Hospital, where I received initial medical treatment," Luhut said as quoted from his personal Instagram account, quoted on Saturday, November 4.

"Tawaran dari teman dan keharapan keluarga agar saya mendapat lingkungan yang memungkinkan pemulihan lebih optimal, kemudian membawa saya dirujuk ke Singapura," tambahnya.

During the treatment there, Luhut admitted that he was only accompanied by a team of doctors, aides, and his wife. There were no guests and even cell phones ringing during the treatment there.

"Because in the first days here, practically I was only accompanied by a team of doctors, aides, as well as my wife and children. No guests, no cell phone ringings that I can answer all, must go through the hands of the aides, a decision based on deep love. 'Papa, focus on recovering first, the rest can wait'. That's what my wife and child say," he said.

He also admitted that with his condition which was getting better, he was allowed to hold his cellphone for a moment to look at work, although not entirely.

Luhut is even known to have received a visit from President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), Vice President Ma'ruf Amin, along with ministers who are close friends.

"It feels like getting additional energy and enthusiasm to recover," he said.

As previously reported, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said that he had visited the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Menko Marves) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan in Singapore. He visited on Friday, November 4.

"Yes, yesterday I came from Balikpapan and immediately stopped by Singapore to visit Pak Luhut and thank God his condition is getting better," Jokowi said quoting Antara.

President Jokowi hopes that Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan can recover soon and return to normal activities.
