Inaugurating The Ganjar-Mahfud TPD Office, Puan Reminds Volunteers To Accept The Issue Of Old Friends Being Opponents

Chairman of the PDIP DPP Puan Maharani asked the ranks of volunteers and supporters of the presidential and vice presidential candidates Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD in East Java to immediately move. They must not be afraid and must accept the fact that old friends are new opponents.

This was conveyed by Puan when inaugurating the Office of the Regional Winning Team (TPD) Ganjar-Mahfud on Jalan Kecilung, Surabaya, East Java. The chairman of the DPR RI asked no more parties who thought that old friends being opponents were just a play.

"Don't anyone think that the friend who has become an opponent is actually playing and the original is still with us. There is no such thing. Already, accept the fact that old friends have become new opponents," said Puan as quoted from her written statement, Saturday, November 4.

Puan reminded that voting is only 101 days away. So, all parties should not relax and postpone work.

Volunteers and supporters of the Ganjar-Mahfud pair are asked to immediately go to the community to explain the best pair. "We can no longer relax, we cannot delay winning," he said.

On that occasion, Puan also had time to talk about the seeds of the new order that were starting to worry. He said, volunteers and supporters of Ganjar-Mahfud did not need to be afraid.

"We remain upright in winning our struggle. We need leaders who want to work hard for Indonesia, want to sacrifice for Indonesia and more importantly how Indonesia remains united, cool, peaceful, and that can only be done if we devote ourselves to Indonesia," he said.

Furthermore, the son of PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri also mentioned that East Java is currently being contested by pairs of presidential and other vice presidential candidates. Thus, volunteers and supporters must move optimally.

Moreover, Mahfud MD, who is the vice presidential candidate for Ganjar, is a native son of East Java and has complete experience in politics, starting from being a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives to a minister. In fact, he also has experience as Chairman of the Constitutional Court (MK).

"Remember that East Java is being contested, so the competition will be fierce. But I'm sure that the supporters of Ganjar-Mahfud in East Java are not afraid of competition. Is that right or not? Afraid or brave? Afraid or brave? " he said.

"We chose Ganjar-Mahfud because we wanted Indonesia to be superior, not just advancing, but superior to other nations. We chose Ganjar-Mahfud because we wanted the Indonesian people to be prosperous. We chose Ganjar-Mahfud because we wanted Indonesia to be fulfilled with a sense of justice," continued Puan.

Meanwhile, Budi Sulistyono, who is the Chair of the East Java Ganjar-Mahfud TPD, admitted that he was ready to intensify the struggle of volunteers and redden East Java. He said there were around 130 volunteer organs throughout East Java who were ready to win Ganjar-Mahfud one round.

"We, together with the volunteers, are ready to redden East Java. After this activity, a winning body will be formed in each region," concluded Budi.
