The Dealer Of 10 Kg Of Marijuana In Tapteng Was Arrested By The Police

Three men trafficking 10 kg of marijuana in Gunung Marijo Village, Pinang Sori District, Central Tapanuli Regency (Tapteng), North Sumatra, face a maximum sentence of 12 years in prison.

The three suspects are DP (28), MS (22) and ZS (23), residents of Jalan Alboin Hutabarat, Wek IV Village, South Sidimpuan District, Padang Sidimpuan City.

"The three suspects were charged with Article 114 paragraph (1) subs Article 111 paragraph (1) of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, with a maximum imprisonment of 12 years and a minimum fine of Rp. 1 billion," said Sibolga Police Chief AKBP Taryono Raharja through Head of Narcotics AKP Sugiono quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, November 2.

Sugiono said, on Monday (30/10) in the morning at around 02.30 WIB, the Sibolga Police Narcotics Sat Opsnal Team conducted an investigation regarding information that the perpetrator was carrying marijuana-type narcotics from Padang Sidimpuan to Sibolga.

The Opsnal Team of the Narcotics Unit of the Sibolga Police conducted a search and found a black backpack containing 10 packs of marijuana.

"The perpetrators and evidence were taken to the Sibolga Police Narcotics Investigation Unit for further investigation," said Sugiono.
