Gibran Claims To Have Bagged Puan-Chairman Of TPN Ganjar Accompanied Prabowo In The 2024 Presidential Election

JAKARTA - The vice presidential candidate (cawapres) Gibran Rakabuming Raka admitted that he had obtained permission from the Chairperson of the PDI-P (PDIP) DPP Puan Maharani to compete in the 2024 presidential election.

"My media friends have said many times. About two weeks ago I met Mbak Puan and Pak Arsjad (Chairman of the National Winning Team (TPN) Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 General Election: Arsjad Rasjid, ed.)," said Gibran in Solo, Central Java, Monday, October 30, confiscated by Antara.

At the meeting, Gibran admitted that he had obtained permission from Puan and Arsjad Rasjid to become vice presidential candidates to accompany Prabowo Subianto in the contestation of the democratic party next year.

"He has both given me permission to compete. I don't need to repeat it again," said the Mayor of Surakarta.

Regarding his membership in PDIP which was questioned by a number of parties, including the Chairman of the Surakarta City PDIP Branch Leadership Council (DPC) FX Hadi Rudyatmo, Gibran said that in the near future he would meet with the person concerned.

"He's already my WA, later I'll find a schedule. So that the schedule doesn't overlap with each other," he said.

Including regarding requests from a number of PDIP cadres who asked Gibran to return his membership card (KTA), he will also discuss it with Hadi Rudyatmo.

"I'll talk to the chairman of the DPC first," he said.

Previously, PDIP asked Gibran Rakabuming Raka to resign in favor of the party bearing the white-nosed bull.

"It's better for Mas Gibran to come to see his face at the DPC, (properly, Red.) leaving the DPC visible on his back," said Rudy.

According to him, it is important to do so that there is no assessment of PDI-P General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri playing on two legs.

"In my hope, I convey to Mas Gibran that there should be no assessment of my general chairman playing on two legs. I ask Mas Gibran very much and politely," he said.
