The PDIP Faction Of The Medan City DPRD Is Confirmed To Keep Bobby Nasution Even Though He Supports Prabowo-Gibran

Chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) DPP Ahmad Basarah said the PDIP faction of the Medan City DPRD was still assigned to guard the government of the Mayor of Medan Bobby Nasution until it was finished.

This was conveyed by Basarah in response to Bobby's attitude in supporting the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka pair in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres).

This attitude is different from the PDIP's decision to support Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD.

"Friends of the Medan City PDIP Faction DPRD and assigned to guard, guard, the Mas Bobby government," Basarah told reporters at the PDIP DPP Party School, Lenteng Agung, Jakarta, Saturday, October 28.

"Until now, no decision has changed from Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri," he continued.

The same thing was conveyed for members of the PDIP Faction DPRD in Solo City to maintain Gibran as Mayor of Solo. However, Basarah asked Gibran, who had chosen to run with Prabowo in the 2024 presidential election, to show political ethics.

"So what we are actually waiting for is the political ethics of a Mas Gibran who has now dared to run for the vice president of the Republic of Indonesia, so we are waiting for us to accept the PDIP KTA," said the Deputy Chairperson of the MPR RI.

"If you borrow the term Mas Rudy Solo (Chairman of the Surakarta City PDIP DPC FX Hadi Rudyatmo), if the eastern person comes, his face looks back. I think it's that simple for us about Mas Gibran today," added Basarah.

Previously reported, the Mayor of Medan Bobby Nasution who is also the son-in-law of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will support the Prabowo-Gibran pair.

This statement was made after he was reluctant to comment when asked about the direction of his support. But lately he answered he would provide support.

"Definitely!" said Bobby Nasution briefly when asked by the media about his direction of support for Prabowo-Gibran, at the Medan Mayor's office, North Sumatra, Wednesday, October 25.

Bobby then said that his brother-in-law was suitable and worthy to be a vice presidential candidate. "I think he is very good at taking a moment, in taking lessons, and this can be a lesson," he said.
