Anies At Ponpes Bogor: We Must Make Efforts So That There Will Be Changes

JAKARTA - Anies Baswedan will ask the pesantren of both santri and kyai to support changes for Indonesia to be better and fairer in its vision if given the opportunity to lead this country.

Anies asked for prayers and support so that the mandate he held as a presidential candidate with vice presidential candidate Muhaimin Iskandar alias Cak Imin yielded results in the 2024 General Election and gave changes.

"Because we want a fairer Indonesia, we want a change in this country. Don't let it happen in this country, we are like spectators, even though we are owners of this country," said Aneis in front of the students, kyai and the parents of the students who attended the visit at the Al Falak Pagentongan Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes). "Moreover, this is the child, the grandson of the person who fights for this country. It is time for this to change. That means we have to try. It is impossible for the change to be carried out alone. It is impossible for the change to come automatically. We must make efforts so that changes occur. Hopefully, what we are trying to do will be opened. God will open the door of success," he said.

Anies believes that the good intentions of the people are good and in a good way, the doors of goodness will be opened.

"Please all the support, please pray. Please convey this to all, God willing, what we are trying to do can be successful. And I and Gus Muhaimin, who happened to get this mandate, a mandate that was not small. Gus Imin and I share, so that we can stay in touch even more," he said.

Anies hopes that by visiting the pesantren and getting the opportunity to explain and interact, his reach will carry even greater changes.
