It Turns Out That Young Mother In Cianjur Did Not Suicide But Her Boyfriend Died

The police arrested the perpetrator of the murder of a young mother named Ayu Lestari (25), a resident in Lembur Sawah Village, Cianjur Regency, West Java. The perpetrator named Peri Maulana (29) was arrested in less than 24 hours.

Kasatreskrim Cianjur Police, Iptu Tono Listianto said previously the victim was called suicide by hanging himself. However, officers conducted a crime scene (TKP), finding a number of irregularities because a number of wounds were found on the victim's body.

"Officers who carried out the crime scene found a number of bruises all over the victim's body, so a development was carried out which was originally suspected of committing suicide because the victim was found with a neck entangled in a plastic mine on the bedroom door," he said in Cianjur, Wednesday, October 25, which was confiscated by Antara.

Tono explained that less than 24 hours after receiving information from a number of witnesses including the victim's child, officers immediately arrested Peri Maulana, who had been known as the victim's girlfriend, who had come to the rented house on Tuesday evening.

During the examination, the perpetrator admitted that he had killed the victim, so the officers investigated the motive and how the perpetrator killed the victim and hanged him at the bedroom door to eliminate traces.

"The perpetrator is still undergoing examination, but he has admitted his actions, but we are still investigating the motive and method of the perpetrator of killing the victim by conducting a crime scene investigation," he said.

One day earlier, Tono said the police received a report from residents who found Ayu Lestari's body dead hanging from a rented house in Lembur Sawah Village, Sukasirna Village, Sukaluyu District, Tuesday, October 24. The victim allegedly committed suicide.

However, before being found hanging from inside the house, according to witness testimony, the victim was involved in an argument with Peri Maulana, who was her boyfriend on Monday, October 23 night.

One day later, on Tuesday, October 24, the victim was found dead with his neck entangled in a plastic mine tied to the bedroom door.

"Officers asked for information from a number of eyewitnesses who had seen the two of them being involved in an argument, until the victim's child said that before his mother died, it depended that the perpetrator had come back to the rented house," he said.
