Surakarta Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka returned to the office after the announcement of the prospective presidential candidate (readpres) Prabowo Subianto regarding the prospective vice presidential candidate who would accompany him. He admitted that he did not participate in the declaration made by the Prabowo Subianto presidential candidate at his residence on Jalan Kertanegara, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Sunday night because Monday morning he had to have an office at Solo City Hall. "Because today I have to finish work in Solo," he said Gibran. Not until an hour later, Gibran appeared to have left his office and returned to the official car parked in front of the lobby of the mayor's office in Solo.

When asked by the media crew whether he would go to Jakarta, Selvi Ananda's husband said he would go out for a while to see the conditions of the final disposal site (TPA) Putri Cempo. Prabowo explained that the decision was by acclamation and the entire party of the Advanced Indonesian Coalition members reached a consensus on the decision.
