PKS Yakin AMIN Menang: Gibran Jadi Pendamping Prabowo Buat Pilpres Makin Mudah

JAKARTA - PKS Secretary General Aboe Bakar Alhabsy said that Gibran Rakabuming Raka accompanying Prabowo Subianto would make the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) easier and more fun for the Anies-Muhaimin pair.

"I believe (the 2024 presidential election) will be easier," said Aboe Bakar at the Gatot Soebroto Army Central Hospital (RSPAD) in Jakarta as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, October 21.

He admitted that he had received information who would accompany Prabowo Subianto since Friday (20/10) night

"Let them be leaked to the public later," he said.

Aboe Bakar said that the leadership of the state is not only a matter of father and son but more of his abilities and competencies.

According to him, the figure of the vice president is those who have the ability because if the president has a problem, the representative will replace him.

Meanwhile, he thanked the Chairperson of the PDI-P for choosing Mahfud MD as a companion to Ganjar Pranowo.

"Mrs. Mega has chosen the best person," he said.

He said he didn't want to think about candidates from other coalitions and now focus on winning Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar.

Aboe prays for all pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates to pass the health examination and compete in the 2024 presidential election.

"We pray that everyone passes," he said.

Previously, the Golkar Party proposed that Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka be a candidate for vice president (cawapres) for Prabowo Subianto.

"I first asked, proposing and supporting Mas Gibran Rakabuming Raka for us to pair it with Mr. Prabowo as the vice president's reading. Do you agree? Mr. Prabowo, all agree?" said Golkar Party Chairman Airlangga Hartarto, while reading the results of the decision of the National Leadership Meeting (Rapimnas) at the Golkar DPP Office, Jakarta, Saturday.

Airlangga's question was answered in agreement by all Rapimnas participants. Airlangga also asked all chairmen of the Golkar regional leadership council (DPD), to be willing to support the future vice presidential candidate with the age of under 40 years.

"Bismillah, so I knocked out the Golkar Party proposal which I will hand over to Mr. Prabowo, this is to be brought to the meeting of the party chairman forum," said Airlangga.

After reading the conclusions and agreement between Rapimnas, Airlangga then submitted the recommendation to the Presidential Candidate for the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) Prabowo Subianto.

Based on the schedule set by the General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia, the registration of prospective presidential and vice presidential candidates is scheduled to start on 19-25 October 2023.

As regulated in Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections (UU Pemilu), pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates are proposed by political parties or coalitions of political parties participating in the election who meet the requirements for obtaining seats of at least 20 percent of the total number of seats in the DPR or obtaining 25 percent of valid votes nationally in the previous election for members of the DPR.

Currently, there are 575 seats in parliament so that pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates in the 2024 presidential election must have at least 115 seats in the DPR RI. In addition, candidate pairs can also be promoted by political parties or a combination of political parties
