JAKARTA The explosion incident in Setiabudi, South Jakarta, which killed one construction worker, still leaves a puzzle. The police have yet to provide information on the results of the investigation. However, based on the search at the location, it was revealed who the owner of the building was being renovated.

Yunita, head of RT 07 Guntur Village, Setiabudi, South Jakarta, provided little information about the land owner.

Yunita said, the house was bought by someone named Aditya. However, Yunita did not know further the background of the man who bought the house. And it was also mentioned that Aditya had not bought a house with number 02 for one year.

Furthermore, according to Yunita's statement, after the land was purchased, the owner brought a handyman to carry out renovations, including repairing septic tanks.

"Yes.. (septic tanks) there are a few renovations, yes, because the house has been around for a long time. It's been empty for decades," said Yunita when met by VOI at her house on Jalan Takuban Boat, Gontor, South Jakarta, Thursday night, October 19.

Yunita's confession was strengthened by one of the Guntur Village staff who said that the house had only been purchased for less than a year.

"Buyed not this year. It has only been renovated for two months," said Guntur Village staff who did not want to mention his name.

There is no bright spot regarding this explosion. The police have examined a number of witnesses.

Dirkrimum Polda Metro Jaya Hengki Haryadi, Wednesday night, October 18, said that victim A (49) before he died had hit an object that was found and lifted from the ground. Then, after being beaten, the object exploded.

The object suspected of being a bomb was found in the ground, then lifted up. According to witness testimony, he was beaten and eventually an explosion occurred," said Hengki, Wednesday night, October 18.

Hengki said that currently the police are still investigating the findings of the object. His party has not been able to conclude the object suspected of being the bomb.
