KCIC Clarifies Passengers Left Behind

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) apologized for the inconvenience of passengers of the Fast Trainfeeding which was delayed due to the operational constraints of the feeder train from Bandung Station.

"In this condition, as many as 31 passengers who previously used Feeder Trains were unable to board the high-speed train for the departure schedule at 06.56 WIB from Padalarang Station because theapprohibition Train departed on schedule," said PT KCIC Corporate Secretary Eva Chairunisa as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, October 19.

"While waiting at the Padalarang Station hall, KCIC also provides snacks and drinks," he said.

Eva revealed that there was one other passenger who chose to cancel the ticket and had also been served through the Padalarang Station counter with a 100 percent refund of ticket duties.

To prevent this from happening again, KCIC will continue to coordinate with KAI for better service.

"In the future, KAI will also prepare a series of Feeder train reserves at Bandung Station as a form of anticipation," he said.

As for the operation with the implementation of paid tickets on October 17, 2023, the HIGH Speed Train has 14 travel schedules per day.

Seven departures from Halim Station and seven departures from Tegalluar Station.

All train trips stop serving passenger ups and downs at Padalarang Station.

It was recorded that on Thursday, October 19, 2023, there were around 5,500 passengers using the Fast Train

There are 4 trains that run with occupancy reaching 97 percent, while a number of other trains have occupancy ranging from 40 to 70 percent.

Passengers who want to go to Bandung Station from Padalarang High Speed Train Station and can instead use Feeder Train for free, as for the scheduled departure and arrival of the Feeder Train, have also been adjusted to the schedule for the Fast Train
