Ungubrished Warning, Illegal Land Excavation Activities In Tangerang Closed By Satpol PP

The Tangerang Regency Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) closed illegal land excavation activities in Keski Village, Gunung Kaler District, on Monday, October 16.

Head of Tangerang Regency Satpol PP Agus Suryana said the closure of the activity was due to disturbing the security and order of the local community.

"Because it has disturbed public peace and order. We took action by installing Pol PP Line on heavy equipment at the location and summoning the person in charge of activities to bring licensing files," he said in Banten, Monday, October 16, which was confiscated by Antara.

He explained, before controlling land excavation activities, his party first gave a warning to the manager, who was then immediately given strict sanctions by installing a "line" sealing line.

"We have informed the manager in advance that the termination should be carried out, but because the warning was not heeded, it had to be forced to be terminated," he said.

Agus said that the excavation of land in Kepalah Village, Gunung Kaler District, was an activity of 'cut and fill' or construction activities by digging and hoarding in order to create the desired elevation.

"If these activities have not received permission, then we should temporarily stop them. Until, they fulfill administrative permits and from the surrounding community," he said.

He said the action on the 'cut and fill' activity was directly assisted by the Gunung Kaler, TNI-Polri sub-district officials and representatives of the surrounding community.

From the results of the field inspection, there were 2 heavy equipment used for the 'cut And fill' activity.

"The cessation of the activity was witnessed and assisted by the sub-district head of Mount Kaler, the TNI/Polri and the surrounding community," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Regional Regulation Enforcement Division of the Tangerang Regency Satpol PP, TB Muhammad Waisulkurni, added that his party did not hesitate to take action against all business activities that caused disturbances of peace and public order, especially in the Tangerang Regency area.

"We will not hesitate to take action against all activities that interfere with peace and public order," he said.
