Kaesang Accompanied By Thousands Of People At A Healthy Road Event In Manado

The Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) held an event entitled Jalan Santuy Generasi Optimistic in Tree Kasih, Megamas area, Manado, North Sulawesi, this Saturday morning.

It appears that thousands of people are enlivening this healthy road event with the Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep which was opened by Kaesang at 07.00 WITA.

After opening the event, Kaesang also took part in the road with the participants crossing Jalan Boulevard and finished at the initial place at 07.50 WITA. Kaesang appreciated the enthusiasm of the Manado residents who had come to the healthy road event. "Thank you Manado residents, the food is good, Manado residents are steady," said the youngest son of President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo. On that occasion, Kaesang as Chairman of PSI gave a message to the chairman of the North Sulawesi PSI DPW Melky Jakhin Pengman to win 2,000,000 votes in the province located at the northern end of Sulawesi Island. "Winning, the task in particular, yes, win. Two million votes, yes," he told Melky. PSI and Deputy Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Indonesian Spatial Planning Raja Juli Antoni praised Manado City as the most tolerant city in Indonesia. "Yesterday I heard that Manado is the most tolerant city in Indonesia, agrees? Praise God Manado people are very familiar in terms of ethnicity, religion, all of them are Torang Saudara, Torang Samua Basudara," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, October 14.

This event is one of Kaesang's series of activities during his visit as the latest PSI General Chairperson in North Sulawesi for 2 days since yesterday (13/10). On Friday, Kaesang met with Jokowi Volunteers and cross- faith figures. Kaesang during this visit was accompanied by PSI Secretary General and Deputy Minister of ATR/BPN Raja Juli Antoni, Deputy Chairperson of the PSI Board of Trustees Grace Natali, two members of the PSI Board of Trustees Giring Ganesha and Isyana Bagoes Oka, as well as the Special Staff of the State Secretary who is also PSI politician Faldo Maldini. Kaesang still carries out activities in Manado ranging from meeting volunteers, consolidation, to meeting religious figures and community leaders who lasted until Saturday (14/10) before returning to Jakarta.
