PSI Consolidation In Manado, Kaesang Confirmed Not Attending Projo National Working Meeting

JAKARTA - General Chair of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep was confirmed not to attend the VI Projo National Working Meeting which was held at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, on Saturday, October 14.

The reason is, until Saturday afternoon Kaesang was scheduled to attend a PSI consolidation event in Manado, North Sulawesi.

PSI Secretary General Raja Juli Antoni said Projo's invitation would be attended by the deputy chairman of PSI.

Meanwhile, he had to accompany Kaesang along with Deputy Chair of the Board of Trustees Grace Natalie and member of the Board of Trustees Isyana Bagoes Oka.

"Incidentally, Mr. Kaesang, I, Sis Grace, Sis Isyana are going to Manado, so maybe there are PSI friends who will attend. But Mr. Kaesang, I, Sis Grace are already scheduled in Manado," said Raja Juli to reporters, Thursday , October 12, evening.

"The deputy general chairman was present, until Saturday afternoon we returned from Manado," he continued.

Raja Juli revealed that the event in Manado was an internal consolidation event for PSI to absorb aspirations regarding support for presidential and vice presidential candidates in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.

"Yes, internally," he said.

It is known that the VI Projo National Working Meeting will be opened by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) as the Projo Advisory Board. A number of political figures were invited to attend the Projo VI National Working Meeting, including Gerindra Party Chairman Prabowo Subianto, Gibran Rakabuming and Kaesang Pangarep.

In general, the Projo National Working Meeting will be a forum for discussion and determining the direction of support for the 2024 presidential candidates.
