Regent Admits Health Services In The Thousand Islands Are Less Optimal

JAKARTA - Thousand Islands Administrative Regent Junaedi admitted that public health services in his area are still not optimal. The area of the Jakarta archipelago is known to only have a type D regional general hospital (RSUD). Type RSUD on Pramuka Island, Panggang Island Village is only in the same class as the inpatient health center. This was revealed by Junaedi in a discussion meeting on the 2024 budget year APBD draft with the DKI Jakarta DPRD. "Currently we only have a type D RSUD which I want to improve to Type C," said Juanedi in his statement, quoted on Thursday, October 12. On that basis, Junaedi admitted that the Thousand Islands Regency Government had proposed to finance the construction of additional hospitals so that residents' health services could be further improved.
