He said the search had started from Wednesday morning at around 07.00 WIB together with a joint SAR team from various agencies ranging from the police, Padangpariaman BPBD, PMI, and others.
Basarnas Padang conducted a search by dividing into two teams, where a team maneuvered around the scene using a rubber boat.
Meanwhile, other teams moved to conduct sweeps by following the flow of the river 2.5 kilometers from the scene.
However, until 18.00 WIB the search conducted by the team had not yielded results, so the search and rescue operation had to be temporarily suspended to resume tomorrow morning.
To note, there were four victims in the incident that occurred on Tuesday (10/10), all of whom were male and came from Bengkulu Province.
