A student with the initials NJ (20) is suspected of committing suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of Paragon Mall Semarang. The victim died due to serious head injuries. Currently, the police are still investigating the case of the girl's death.

The victim's body appears to have been evacuated from Paragon Mall on Jalan Pemuda, Semarang City, Tuesday, October 10, at around 19.00 WIB. The victim was then taken to Kariadi Hospital Semarang.

The police immediately processed the crime scene and traced the arrival and path the victim went through while in the mall. The crime scene was completed at around 20.30 WIB.

The police chief said that the case was first discovered by a security officer at Paragon Mall named Ria. Ria received reports from visitors about a person lying at the car exit. Allegedly, the victim jumped from the building of the Paragon Mall.

"(The victim) has the worst head injury in the head. Now the body has been taken to Dr. Kariadi Hospital, forensic examination is still being carried out. For the results, we will develop it from the identity of the victim, for which part of the wound," he explained.

Based on the results of the crime scene, the police found a bag suspected of belonging to the victim on the fourth floor, to be precise next to the barrier. In the bag there are various identity cards, such as ID cards, Unnes student student cards (Semarang State University), and a will.

"We are still identifying it. Whether it belongs to the victim or not, we are still waiting for further investigation. The identity in the bag is a resident of Semarang City, Ngaliyan District, Kalipancur Village, on behalf of NJW," he explained.

"The victim's arrival here, we are also still combing the location, we are checking CCTV. Currently, it is still being investigated by the police, we will inform you further," he added.
