ACEH - A resident of Rumkoh Village, Syiah Kuala District, Banda Aceh City, found a human skeleton while digging the foundation on the land behind a shop in the local area.
"The human skeleton was found by construction workers on Monday at around 11.30 WIB," said Syiah Kuala Police Chief Iptu Cut Laila Surya in Banda Aceh, Antara, Tuesday, October 10.
Cut Laila said the original unidentified human skeleton was found by two workers from North Sumatra, namely Riki (25) and Sardianto (28) while digging the foundation on the land belonging to a local resident named Danuraini (44).
After they were found they immediately reported it to the shop owner, then forwarded it to the gampong device and the meunasah priest until it was reported to the local police.
"The gampong device also found the identity allegedly belonging to the victim in the form of a SIM on behalf of M Jamil, a resident from Aceh Besar District," he said.
On the other hand, said Cut, the local Imam meunasah apparently recognized the family according to the identity of the victim who was found, so the person concerned immediately contacted the family, namely Rahmad Ambia (38).
"After that, the family immediately took the skeleton home to Gampong Baet to be buried. The family refused to investigate this matter," said Iptu Cut Laila.
