Police Arrest Dozens of Motorbike Thugs in Jambi, Sickles And Swords Confiscated

JAMBI - Police arrested dozens of motorized delinquents who were troubling the public.

"A total of 16 motorized delinquents were arrested and two of them were followed by the legal process," said Head of the Jatanras Sub-unit, Jambi Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Aiptu Mohammad Bentang Jayo, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 10.

The arrest of motorized delinquents took place on October 6. The police also arrested two motorized delinquents carrying sharp weapons of the type of sickle.

Of the arrested perpetrators, one of them is on the wanted list (DPO) of the brawl case in Telanaipura-City of Jambi with the initials YH and his friend with the initials NAB as witnesses.

Then, on October 7, the police again arrested two motorized delinquents carrying sharp weapons of sickle type in the Selincah area, Jambi City.

Two motorized delinquents who were secured in the Selincah area had the initials TP and SK, then the police then arrested two perpetrators who had been caught with the initials TP and YH.

Furthermore, on October 8, the police again arrested seven motorized delinquents, namely FS (23) FMS (20.MI (15), AM (17), RP (16), MA (22) and AS (19).

When they took action against these motorized delinquents, some of them fled and the police managed to secure seven people.

In addition, there were two perpetrators of motorized delinquents that were handed over by the family to the police. This step is appreciated by the Jambi Police because parents support the program to eradicate motorized delinquents in the area.
