Head of the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Tourism Office, Jamaluddin Malady, revealed that 75 percent of spectators who had ordered MotoGP tickets at the Mandalika Circuit on October 13-15, 2023, came from outside the region.

"From the current tracking results of MotoGP audience tickets, most of them come from outside NTB, such as Jakarta, Banten, West Java, and East Java," he said in Mataram as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, October 7.

The number of tickets that have been sold so far has reached 46,150 sheets or 65 percent of the 71 thousand tickets provided.

"Until today, according to the report from the organizers we have received, 65 percent or 46,150 shares have been received," said Jamaluddin.

According to him, tickets that have been sold are both online and offline from all seating categories, both VIP premiere, VIP deluxe, grand standing premium, grand stand regular and festival.

"But it is possible that tomorrow and so on, we are sure that the ticket target that has been printed will be sold out before the MotoGP event," he said.

Jamaluddin Malady explained that of the five categories of MotoGP tickets that were sold out, only the VIP Premier category had been sold out. As for tickets for the VIP Deluxe category, there are still 30 percent left. Meanwhile, for the grandstand category, both premium and regular are sold between 55 percent and 65 percent.

The Mandalika MotoGP Field Commander said that the grandstand A ticket category sold had reached 60 percent, while the grandstand B had sold 55 percent. Then, specifically for the grand stand J or the special stands for the fans of Repsol Honda racer Marc Marquez has been filled with 65 percent.

"The grandstand curve is interesting because here the fans of Marc Marquez are provided with a sarindise of hats and bags," said Jamaluddin Malady.

For spectators who have purchased tickets starting on October 11-15, the organizers, in this case MGPA and Dyandra, opened a ticket exchange counter. For the ticket exchange location in Lombok, it was opened in three locations, namely the Ex Selaparang Airport in Mataram City, GOR Tripat Gerung in West Lombok Regency and the former Hajj embarkation terminal at Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport (Bizam) in Central Lombok Regency.

"For exchange outside NTB is in Sarinah Jakarta. The exchange can be done before October 11, 2023," he said.
