KPK Calls SYL Financial Transaction Reports From PPATK Help Investigators

JAKARTA - Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri confirmed that they received a financial transaction report allegedly related to a corruption case at the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan). Not detailed, but one of them is suspected to be Syahrul Yasin Limpo.

"That's right, PPATK has submitted LHA to the KPK related to allegations of corruption at the Ministry of Agriculture," Ali said in a written statement, Friday, October 6.

Ali appreciated the steps taken by PPATK. He said the report helped investigators work to investigate allegations of corruption at the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan).

"The financial transaction data is certainly very important to help the investigative team trace the flow of money entering or leaving the accounts of certain parties recorded in the report," he said.

As previously reported, the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) has analyzed the transaction activities of the Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo or SYL. As a result, indications of money laundering (TPPU) were found.

Most recently, investigators also visited Hatta's house in Jagakarsa, South Jakarta. From the forced effort, Rp400 million was found.

The findings obtained from the search are now being analyzed and confiscation will be carried out. Meanwhile, the findings of firearms were handed over to the police for follow-up.
