Today's Labor Demonstration At The Horse Statue Of Jakarta, 6,520 Personnel Alerted To The Traffic Flow Diversion Scheme

JAKARTA - A number of labor elements will hold demonstrations in the Horse Statue area, Central Jakarta, today. Polda Metro Jaya said 6,520 personnel were deployed in the traffic flow security and diversion scheme to be implemented. "In total, 6,520 joint personnel will be deployed to secure demonstrations," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko in his statement, Monday, October 2. Thousands of personnel deployed with details of 4,530 Polri personnel, 1,680 TNI personnel, and 310 DKI Jakarta Regional Government (Pemda) personnel. "Satgasda 3,295 personnel, Satgasres 615 personnel and BKO (TNI and Regional Government) 2,610 personnel," he said. Meanwhile, for the traffic flow scheme there are four diverted roads. However, the implementation is situational. The purpose of implementation of traffic flow diversion so that demonstrations does not interfere with other community activities. "We also prepare traffic engineering that leads to demonstration points. Its nature remains situational but is expected to avoid this route," he said.

The diversion of traffic flow is:1. Traffic flow from HI to Jalan Merdeka Barat is diverted to Jalan Budi Kemuliaan or Jalan Merdeka Selatan.2. Traffic flow from Tugu Tani to Jalan Merdeka Utara is diverted to Jalan Perwira (Situasisional).3. The traffic flow from Jalan Hayam Wuruk to Jalan Majapahit, Jalan Merdeka Utara is diverted to Jalan Juanda or to Jalan Suryopranoto.4. Abdul Muis Street to Jalan Gajah Mada is diverted to Jalan Tanah Abang Satu.
