Gerindra Calls Anies' Insinuation About Fighter Planes Only Gimmick

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the Gerindra Party, Habiburrokhman, responded casually to the attitude of the presidential candidate (readpres) for the Coalition for Change, Anies Baswedan, who satirized the general chairman as well as read the president of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) Prabowo Subianto during a healthy road event in Makassar, South Sulawesi (Sulsel).

Anies alluded to Prabowo who presented a fighter during the Relax Road Movement some time ago in Makassar. According to Anies, without any fighter aircraft, the event held by the Anies-Muhaimin pair was attended by so many people of South Sulawesi.

Habiburrokhman Anies satire is just a gimmick. He also invited the public to judge Anies' words.

"That's so kangimmick. Please let the public judge," Habiburrokhman told reporters at the DPR building, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, September 25.

Not much to comment on, Habiburrokhman actually said that Anies was a good figure. He also prayed for the former governor of DKI Jakarta to always be healthy.

"Mr. Anies is a good person, we pray that he will continue to be healthy," he said.

Previously, Bacapres Anies Baswedan satirized Prabowo Subianto, who was present at the South Sulawesi Provincial Government's healthy road in Makassar and was greeted with a sukhoi aircraft attraction. According to him, there is no need to use an airplane to show the number of participants.

The satire was conveyed when greeting the Gembira Street participants in front of the Mandala Monument, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Makassar, Sunday, September 24.

"And gathering here does not need to use planes that pass above us. But we can gather, showing more residents who come. To send messages to all of Indonesia. Applause for all who are here," said Anies in his remarks.
