The DPRD together with the local Cirebon City Government (Pemkot) ratified a Regional Regulation (Perda) on Regional Taxes and Regional Retribution (PDRD) as an elementary reference for the sector.

"The discussion of the regional regulation has been reported to the leaders and leaders of the factions. Chairman of the Special Committee of the PDRD Raperda Doddy Aryanto explained that in the regulation there were 52 articles related to the tax scope and containing 35 articles on retribution.

According to him, the PDRD Regional Regulation can be a basic benchmark for the Cirebon City Government to collect taxes and levies so that local revenues (PAD) increase rapidly. "In addition to taxes, in the regional regulation, there is a discussion of levies, including general service levies, business service levies and certain licensing levies," said Doddy. Meanwhile, the Deputy Mayor of Cirebon, Eti Herawati, assessed that the synergy between the executive and legislative institutions was ultimately able to produce the required regional regulations, both for his party and the welfare of the community. Eti said, after the regional regulation was ratified, the Cirebon City Government instructed the relevant agencies to follow up on these technical matters.
