Tree Collision Truck At Bakauheni Port, Kernet Dies At The Incident Location

The truck allegedly experienced a failed brake hitting a tree in the Bakauheni Port area, South Lampung Regency on Saturday, September 24 evening. As a result, one driver died.

Based on the video that was widely circulated on social media, it was seen that a truck was speeding into the port area and crashing into a tree.

"Yes, that's right, there was an accident where a truck that was suspected of having failed brakes hit a tree at the port," said South Lampung Police Chief of the Port Area (KSKP) of the South Lampung Police, AKP Ridho Rafika, when contacted on Sunday, September 24, was confiscated by Antara.

He explained that the accident occurred on Saturday, September 23 at around 22.00 WIB.

According to him, due to the incident, one driver was killed while the truck driver was rushed to the nearest health center.

"One person died, the temporary information was the assistant, and the driver was taken to the puskesmas," he said.
