POHUWATO - Head of the Public Relations Section (Humas) of the Regency Government (Pemkab) Pohuwato, Gorontalo Province, Usman Bay said that all employees who worked during the incident of the burning of the regent's office were declared safe. "It was confirmed that all employees were safe," said Usman in Pohuwato, quoted by ANTARA Friday, September 22. He explained that initially his party did not know if the mass of the action would come to the regent's office to carry out demonstrations until then there was an incident of arson by a group of people at a demonstration of miners who demanded compensation from the mining company on Thursday. Previously, his party received information that the regent's office was not included in the object to be visited by the mass of the action, so that in the morning until noon the activity ran as usual. "Later after the Shalat Dzuhur, we received information that the regent's office was the target of carrying out the action, so that the leadership instructed us to leave the office immediately," he said. The entire mayor's office will be located in the joint office. "According to the leadership's instructions, for a while we are not on the ground there, until the construction of a new regent's office," said Usman Bay.

Despite working in a joint office, his party continues to provide maximum service to the community by utilizing the remaining equipment available. "Regarding the tools or supporting facilities, while we will do our best to serve the community with the remaining equipment we have," he added.
