The South Nias District Prosecutor's Office, North Sumatra, arrested and detained SN as the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) in the alleged corruption case in the construction of the Agribusiness Student Practice Room for Food Crops and Horticulture SMKN 1 Gomo, in South Nias Regency for Fiscal Year 2021.

"Previously, SN as PPK was examined with the status of a witness for three hours starting at 14.30 WIB by the investigative team, Wednesday (20/9)," said Head of the Intelligence Section of the South Nias Kejari Hironimus Tafonao, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, September 21.

He said SN was given 55 questions by investigators to find out the involvement as PPK in the construction of the Agribusiness Practice Student Room (RPS) for Food Crops and Horticulture at SMKN 1 Gomo for Fiscal Year 2021.

"The value of the development contract is IDR 1,161,123,649.53 which comes from the 2021 DAK funds," he said.

The ironymus said that the result of the suspect's actions in state financial losses reached Rp. 200,326,000,

"This is based on the report on the results of the examination of the calculation of state financial losses from the Auditor of the North Sumatra Provincial Inspectorate Number: 700.1.2.3/1992/ITPROVSU dated July 13, 2023," he said.

For his actions, suspect SN was charged with Article 2 in conjunction with Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 paragraph (1) letter b of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 Paragraph (1) 1 of the Criminal Code.

Or Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 paragraphs (1), (2), and (3) of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 as amended by Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code.

"For this case, it is possible that there will be other suspects based on the evidence and evidence that has been obtained by investigators," said Hironimus.

To speed up the investigation process, he said, suspect SN was detained for 20 days starting September 20, October 9, 2023 at the Class III Penitentiary in Teluk Dalam, South Nias.

Previously, the South Nias Kejari had named another suspect with the initials EYM KBA Director in the same case.
