JAKARTA - Clashes between residents of Johar Baru, Central Jakarta again occurred right in front of the Banua Niha Keriso Protestant (BNKP) church, Jalan Kramat Jaya Baru, RW 01, Johar Baru District, Central Jakarta on Wednesday, September 20, evening.

"Yes, it is true that another brawl occurred in front of the BNKP church. But we came and disbanded immediately," said Johar Baru Police Chief, Kompol Ubaidillah to reporters.

Kompol Ubaidillah said that his party had also pocketed the identities of the brawlers. Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) examinations were also carried out to see who was involved.

"We are mapping out which group was involved in the brawl. We also have the identities of the perpetrators of the brawl," he said.

Separately, Clara, a local resident, said another brawl occurred. Teenagers involved in the brawl attacked each other using sharp weapons (sajam), glass bottles and firecrackers.

"This resident of RT 02 RW 02 was attacked by a group of teenagers from Jalan Kramat Jaya Baru. They attacked each other using weapons, glass bottles and firecrackers," he said.

This brawl had occurred in two consecutive days until the residents' cars were damaged and one resident's house was also damaged. Clara asked officers to immediately arrest the perpetrators involved in the brawl.

"This is a resident's house selling fried chicken that was damaged by a stone throw. This brawl has been going on for two days in a row - it has also happened," he said.
