"Peace must also not be torn apart, because the elections and jumps of this nation towards progress must also not be hindered just because of the struggle for power," he said in Solo, Central Java, as reported by Antara, Wednesday, September 20. In a democracy, differences in choice are natural, the most important thing is that national unity and integrity must be maintained. "The difference in choice is natural, winning and losing is also natural, the argument is also natural. The most important thing is that we must maintain unity together," he said. The Head of State said the nation's challenges ahead were not easy. However, these challenges can be used as opportunities for the Indonesian nation to continue to progress as long as there is consistency and sustainability. "Don't let it change the leader, change the vision, change the orientation, so we have to start from scratch again. Already elementary school, already junior high school, already high school, change the leader's vision again so that starting from elementary, junior high, high school, when we have a bachelor's degree, master's degree and so on," said Jokowi. According to the President, the Indonesian nation needs a consistent leader and dares to make decisions.

"Dare to take risks, dare to face anyone and any country for the benefit of the country and the nation. This nation needs to lead who unite, are able to serve the people, are able to work macro, are able to work micro, and be able to work in detail because it is impossible for us to only think macro," he said.
